WELCOME TO TECHNOLOGY...NEW WORLD OF BLOGGING!

So the blogging has begun to spread... what a great way for us to keep in touch with our family and friends and to reach out beyond the relm of telephones and email and snail mail...

However, snail mail is the oldfashioned way of letting someone know your thinking of them. Do you miss those good old days where the excitement, and aniticipation of receiving something in the mail? You go to the mail box.... open the lid, close it... look through the advertisments of coupons (better get to cuttin ALISHA! The coupon queen of 2009...smile), bills, and then finally ahhhh it has arrived. You take it in your hand, take a moment, sit down and read the sweet letter someone wrote to you about how wonderful you are, or to simply thank you for your act of kindness, or a sweet letter that says wow, know what your going through here is a gift card go out to eat??

Sweet tender moments... I recall my mom who is so great at doing that... I was getting ready to go home and my mom sends me a card just to say hi "thinking of you" and enclosed a card in there for gas on the way home..."
