Easter in North Carolina.... always a big family gathering! We have a big yummy brunch...my oldest brother's famous french toast...yummy butter with syrup... makes me want to eat it now:) We have a good time all together. The younger kiddos are starting to out number the adults these days! Ever growing families!

My mom is amazing, she put a lot of hard work into making it a memorable weekend. We had an Easter Egg hunt in our big yard...lots of money inside! 20/10/5/1 dollar bills! You walk away having made money here at our house for Easter! It was fun! And Pam(in the pink holding the green dirty easter egg)found an old egg with money in it from years past! LOL! And my mom had a little Easter Egg Basket hunt for the grandkids... and the older grandkids/cousins went on a clue hunt trying to find their baskets. Everyone running around to find their baskets...its fun to watch:) We all pitched in and got my mom an Easter basket, filled with goodies and gift cards to different fun places to eat! My mom got the girls yummy chocolate, and the guys got a book that my dad read that meant alot to him.

My Dad was an awesome man! We all think of him often and miss him so much.... his presence is forever missed yet remembered. We have so many memories of our dad...we look back with Joy and laughter and tears too because he is not here. But he is in a better place and not suffering anymore, and for that we are thankful that he is at rest, in Heaven with the Lord and my grandpa.
